Meet Dayana Bergman
Dayana Bergman is a candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates representing District 5, committed to serving every family through collaboration, integrity, and people-centered leadership.
A first-generation Chinese Cuban American, Dayana is the wife of a retired U.S. Army veteran and the proud mother of three sons. Two of her sons graduated from Maryland public schools, and her youngest attends Carroll County Public Schools. As both a parent and community advocate, she understands the importance of strong public schools and creating opportunities for every family to succeed.



Throughout her career, Dayana has owned and operated a medical diagnostic center, served as a healthcare and educational interpreter, and worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician, supporting children and families while helping people navigate healthcare and education systems.
Her commitment to service extends beyond her profession. Dayana has testified before the Maryland General Assembly, worked alongside organizations to strengthen public education, and was recognized by the Maryland General Assembly in 2022 for her exemplary civic engagement and advocacy on behalf of Maryland families.



As Delegate, Dayana will work to make Maryland more affordable, expand access to quality healthcare, strengthen public education, and ensure every voice in District 5 is heard. She believes the best solutions come from listening, collaborating, and putting people first.
Dayana and her family proudly call Sykesville home, where they are deeply invested in building a stronger future for District 5, one where every family has the opportunity to thrive.
